Yes! Applications are OPEN for 2021!
The Whitireia Foundation launches its scholarships for 2021 in October 2020.
Scholarships provide financial assistance for tuition fees, unless otherwise specified. Some scholarships cover tools and other relevant materials such as laptops.
In addition to a financial (or equivalent) award, some students will have paid work experience opportunities. Apprenticeships may follow for promising students completing their work experience.
Please check out the documents below if you are considering making an application for our 2021 scholarships.

These committed sponsors include Ngāti Toa, law firm Ford Sumner, Compass Health, Porirua City Council, Elite Services, Alpha NZ Ltd, Graduate Women (Wellington) Charitable Trust and the Campbell and Kirk-Burnnand families. Into their seventh year as sponsors for 2021 are Brittons House Movers, EftPos Vending Ltd, Gee & Hickton Funeral Home, and Red Wolf Security. Offering scholarships for the sixth time are Foster + Melville Architects. Welcome to new sponsors Maude & Miller and OCS, thank you for coming on board with us! We are also hugely grateful to the Nikau Foundation for supporting six students in 2020, carrying on from the Porirua Trust.
We hope to award 50 scholarships for 2021! Big thanks to our wonderful sponsors who make it all possible.
