Keri-Mei made this ring using a collection of rubbish she found at Porirua harbour. “I hope this makes people think about what they are doing to each other and our land. The weaved basket is made of recycled copper. It represents how we use kete to collect our kai moana. It is filled with rubbish. Ironically enough, it is all food rubbish, and all from our poor harbour.”
